
In a series of significant transactions, BNP Paribas Financial Markets has acquired stakes in prominent companies like Tata Motors and Siemens Energy India on May 4, 2026.
These trades were part of larger bulk and block deals executed on the National Stock Exchange.
BNP Paribas Financial Markets acquired 7.18 lakh shares of Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles (TMCV) at ₹405.80 per share, with an equivalent amount sold by Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE.
Similarly, in Siemens Energy India, BNP Paribas purchased 0.89 lakh shares at ₹3,256.80 per share, these trades highlight BNP's strategic investments in key sectors.
The day also witnessed other substantial movements. For instance, Dhara Rail Projects saw 0.80 lakh shares sold at ₹124.66 per share, while KRM Ayurveda recorded the sale of 1.13 lakh shares at ₹235.62 each.
In another notable transaction, Macobs Technologies registered sales of 1.65 lakh shares at ₹244.48 per share.
Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone was a significant focus of block trading, with Capital Group International All Countries Equity Trust acquiring 2.46 crore shares at ₹1,632.45 per share.
The transaction also involved Europacific Growth Fund acquiring 1.74 crore shares while Worldwide Emerging Market Holding Limited sold a similar number. This highlights the active trading interest in Adani Ports.
In another set of transactions, Vallabh Roopchand Bhanshali acquired a total of 20 lakh shares of Sunflag Iron and Steel Company at ₹300 per share, which were concurrently sold by Bhupendra Gokaldas Sanghavi and Bhavini Dhirendra Sanghavi.
