Blue Cloud Softech Solutions Limited (BCSSL) has announced the successful development and deployment of AI-CopWriter, described by the Hyderabad City Police as India's first AI-powered multilingual complaint-recording application, as per the press release.
Developed in collaboration with the IT Cell of Hyderabad City Police, the application was formally launched by Commissioner of Police Sri V. C. Sajjanar, IPS, at the Telangana Integrated Command and Control Centre (TGICCC), Banjara Hills.
AI-CopWriter enables citizens to narrate complaints in their mother tongue, automatically transcribing and translating them into a complete First Information Report (FIR) draft within seconds.
The application supports 10 major Indian languages with automatic language detection. Every exported FIR is generated as a tamper-evident PDF containing the FIR number, complainant and accused details, recording officer's name and badge identification, police station information and relevant legal sections, helping maintain record integrity.
Designed for a city with a diverse population, the platform aims to remove language barriers during complaint registration.
It converts spoken complaints into FIR drafts within seconds, reduces dependence on interpreters, improves investigation quality through verbatim statement capture and standardises police records.
At the launch, Sri V. C. Sajjanar said, "Language should never stand between a citizen and justice. With AI-CopWriter, it no longer will." Hyderabad City Police also indicated that the application is intended to be rolled out across police stations throughout the city.
Calling the initiative "a template for the nation", Tejesh Kumar Kodali, Group Chairman, Blue Cloud Group, said the project demonstrates how AI can empower citizens while making public services faster and more accessible.
The company added that AI-CopWriter strengthens its portfolio of AI platforms for law enforcement and government agencies. It has been designed with record-integrity safeguards, officer attribution and compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 for handling citizen data.

The deployment of AI-CopWriter marks a significant addition to digital policing by enabling multilingual complaint registration, improving record management and supporting wider adoption of AI-driven public service applications across law enforcement.
