BLS E-Services has entered the mutual fund distribution business through a partnership with Asit C Mehta Investment Intermediates Ltd (ACMIIL), a Pantomath Group company, as per news reports. The agreement allows BLS E-Services to distribute mutual fund products as part of its service offerings.
The partnership marks BLS E-Services’ entry into capital market-linked products.
Mutual fund products will be offered through BLS E-Services’ network of more than 147,000 physical service touchpoints across India. These centres are located across metro cities, smaller towns and rural areas.
The services will be delivered using a combination of physical assistance and digital systems. This approach is intended for regions where access to online investment platforms is limited.
The partnership is focused on extending mutual fund access in Tier 2, Tier 3 and Tier 4 towns, as well as rural regions. These areas have lower mutual fund penetration compared with large urban centres.
Physical service outlets are expected to be used for basic processes such as onboarding and transaction support.
BLS E-Services is a subsidiary of BLS International Services. Its operations include Business Correspondent outlets, assisted digital services and e-governance solutions.
The company has a wide presence in semi-urban and rural areas, where it provides access to banking services and public utility services through staffed centres.
ACMIIL was founded in 1983 and operates as a diversified financial services firm. Its activities include mutual fund distribution, equity and derivatives trading, debt market services, forex and commodities advisory, and portfolio management.
The company serves more than 2 lakh clients through a network of over 350 franchisees, along with digital platforms such as Investmentz.com and the BAT app.
India’s mutual fund industry has continued to grow. Assets under management stood at ₹75.61 lakh crore in September 2025, representing a year-on-year increase of 12.7%.
