The company reported a net profit after tax of ₹9.40 crore for the June 2026 quarter. This follows a net loss of ₹1.32 crore recorded during the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
Additionally, the current profit figure marks a recovery from the net loss of ₹22.35 crore reported for the quarter ended March 31, 2026.
Regarding the full financial year 2026, BirlaNu Limited reported a total income of ₹3,785.11 crore. During the same period, the company documented a net loss of ₹119.56 crore.
The board formally approved a greenfield expansion plan to establish a new Fibre Cement Board plant in Hyderabad, Telangana. The capital deployment requires an estimated investment of ₹167.00 crore.
This aggregate amount will fund the greenfield factory setup, infrastructure creation, and direct land parcel acquisition to secure future industrial growth.
The expansion projects a proposed capacity addition of 72,000 metric tons annually, built over a execution period of 24 months via internal accruals and borrowings.
Operational segment dynamics reveal that the Roofs vertical brought in the highest consolidated revenue share of ₹516.50 crore. The Floors division followed behind, delivering ₹341.28 crore to the corporate top-line performance.
Meanwhile, the Pipes & Construction Chemicals segment supplied ₹159.10 crore, the Walls business segment logged ₹156.36 crore, and minor residual sectors brought in ₹1.75 crore.
This resulted in an aggregate net consolidated operational revenue profile of ₹1,174.02 crore after inter-segment adjustments.
In terms of segment results before interest and tax, the Roofs vertical led profitability by generating ₹89.68 crore. The Walls division followed with a positive result of ₹8.45 crore, while alternative segments reported a profit of ₹0.68 crore.
Conversely, the Floors business posted an operating segment loss of ₹37.41 crore, and Pipes & Construction Chemicals noted a minor segment loss of ₹5.34 crore. Total group assets closed at ₹3,013.86 crore against liabilities of ₹1,894.90 crore.
