Shares of telecom companies moved higher in Wednesday’s trading session due to heavy buying interest and positive sector news.

Vodafone Idea share price surged about 6% to a 2-month high of ₹10.55 and has gained around 11% in the last 3 sessions.

Bharti Airtel share price rose about 3% to nearly ₹1,893 and has recovered around 8% from its recent 52-week low.

Reliance Industries share price also climbed nearly 3%, rising 7.5% over the last 3 trading sessions.

Google’s AI Hub Boosts Sector Sentiment

Telecom stocks received support after reports that Google has started a ~$15 billion investment to build a Google Cloud India AI hub in Visakhapatnam.

The project will include subsea cables, fibre expansion, and clean energy integration. It is expected to strengthen India’s digital infrastructure, improve global connectivity, and create about 2 lakh jobs.
