Bharti Airtel has announced July 24, 2026, as the record date to determine the eligibility of shareholders for its proposed final dividend for the financial year 2025-26. The dividend, recommended by the company's board in May, is subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).
If approved, eligible shareholders whose names appear in the company's records as of the record date will receive the dividend within the prescribed timeline after the AGM.
Bharti Airtel's board had recommended a final dividend of ₹24 per fully paid-up equity share with a face value of ₹5 each for FY26. In addition, the company proposed a ₹6 dividend per partly paid-up equity share, on which ₹1.25 per share has been paid, while the remaining call money is yet to be received.
The company has fixed July 24, 2026, as the record date to identify eligible shareholders for the dividend.
The dividend proposal will be placed before shareholders for approval at the company's 31st Annual General Meeting, scheduled for August 3, 2026.
If shareholders approve the proposal at the AGM, Bharti Airtel will distribute the dividend within 30 days of the meeting.
The payment will be made after deducting applicable tax deducted at source (TDS), in accordance with prevailing tax regulations. Only shareholders whose names appear in the company's records on the record date will be eligible to receive the dividend.
Bharti Airtel is one of the world's leading telecommunications companies, serving more than 650 million customers across 15 countries in India and Africa. The company also has operations in Bangladesh and Sri Lanka through its associate entities.

The announcement of the July 24 record date provides clarity for investors looking to qualify for Bharti Airtel's proposed FY26 final dividend. Shareholders should note that the payout remains subject to approval at the August 3 AGM, following which the company is expected to complete the dividend distribution within the statutory timeline.
