
Bharat Forge Limited share price is expected to remain in focus after the company announced a long-term aerospace manufacturing contract with global aircraft manufacturer Embraer for supply of landing gear forgings.
According to the company’s press release, Bharat Forge has entered into a long-term agreement with Embraer for manufacturing and supply of critical forged components used in aircraft landing gear systems.
The forged components will be supplied for Embraer’s commercial and defence aircraft programmes.
The company stated that the partnership highlights its growing capabilities in manufacturing high-precision and safety-critical aerospace components.
Bharat Forge said the agreement makes it the first Indian supplier of forged aerospace components to become part of Embraer’s global aerospace supply chain.
The development is considered strategically important as aerospace component manufacturing requires stringent quality standards, certification processes, and precision engineering capabilities.
The contract is expected to strengthen Bharat Forge’s positioning within the global aerospace manufacturing ecosystem.
Under the agreement, the company will manufacture forged landing gear components requiring high structural integrity and reliability standards.
Landing gear systems are considered among the most critical structural elements in aircraft because of their role in aircraft safety, stability, and operational performance.
The company stated that the engagement reflects confidence in its advanced forging technology, metallurgical expertise, and precision manufacturing capabilities.
As per the exchange filings, Mr. Amit B Kalyani, Vice Chairman & Joint MD, Bharat Forge Limited, commented, “The fact that BFL is the first Indian supplier of forged components for Embraer is a proud moment & a testament to the capabilities we have built in the Aerospace business and we thank them for the trust they have reimposed on BFL.
We look forward to growing and adding value to our association with Embraer in the coming years. These contracts will enable to create scale for critical structural components complementing the scale built in the Aero Engine components space.”
The company noted that the agreement also aligns with Embraer’s efforts to expand its engagement with India’s aerospace manufacturing ecosystem.
The aircraft manufacturer has been strengthening discussions with Indian industry participants and government stakeholders as part of broader aerospace collaboration initiatives.

As of 12 May 2026, at 9:50 AM, Bharat Forge share price is trading at ₹1,982.60 per share, reflecting a decline of 0.22% from the previous closing price.
The long-term Embraer contract strengthens Bharat Forge’s aerospace manufacturing portfolio and marks a significant step in expanding India’s participation in the global aerospace supply chain.
