
Bharat Forge has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Germany-based Agile Robots to explore a strategic collaboration in artificial intelligence-led robotics and industrial automation.
The partnership focuses on deploying intelligent automation solutions across multiple civilian manufacturing industries.
Under the MoU, the two companies will jointly explore the co-development and deployment of AI-driven robotic systems and intelligent automation platforms. The collaboration will leverage Bharat Forge’s manufacturing and domain expertise alongside Agile Robots’ capabilities in advanced robotics and automation technologies.
The partnership will target applications across automotive manufacturing, healthcare equipment production, consumer electronics, industrial consumer products, and logistics.
As part of the agreement, the companies plan to set up capabilities to offer customised automation solutions for India and Southeast Asia. A key focus area will be the development and deployment of vision-based and AI-enabled robotic systems to support fully autonomous or “dark factory” manufacturing environments.
