The company stated that the development does not have any impact on its financial performance or operational activities.  

USFDA Assigns OAI Status to Telangana Facility 

The regulatory action relates to Unit-I, a formulations manufacturing facility operated by Eugia Pharma Specialities Limited at Kolthur Village, Shameerpet Mandal, Ranga Reddy district, Telangana. The USFDA conducted an inspection of the facility between February 16 and February 27, 2026.  

The inspection concluded with four observations. Following its review, the USFDA determined the inspection classification of the facility as “Official Action Indicated” (OAI), according to the company’s disclosure.  

Communication Received on May 23, 2026 

Aurobindo Pharma stated that it received the communication from the USFDA on May 23, 2026. The company disclosed the development through an exchange filing dated May 24, 2026.  

The regulatory classification applies specifically to the Eugia Pharma Specialities manufacturing facility that was inspected earlier this year. The company did not provide additional details regarding any further actions that may follow from the classification.
