Aurionpro Solutions Ltd has secured an additional order worth around ₹50 crore from the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA). The company disclosed the development in an exchange filing on July 30, 2026.
The contract expands the company's ongoing Automated Fare Collection (AFC) project for Mumbai Metro Lines 4 and 4A and extends the deployment to 6 stations under Mumbai Metro Line 5 – Phase I.
The latest order is for the deployment of Aurionpro's end-to-end AFC system, which handles ticketing and fare collection across metro stations. The solution includes systems used for fare management and passenger access.
With this order, the company's scope of work under the MMRDA project increases to cover additional stations as Metro Line 5 progresses.
MMRDA is executing multiple metro corridors across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region to improve urban transport connectivity. Metro Line 5 forms part of this expansion programme.
Aurionpro is supplying the fare collection system for the project, while the metro authority continues work on developing one of the country's largest urban rail networks.
The new contract follows Aurionpro's earlier order for Mumbai Metro Lines 4 and 4A announced last year. According to the company, the latest award extends that engagement rather than representing a new project.
In its statement, the company said the order supports its transit technology business, which focuses on fare collection and mobility solutions for public transport systems.
Aurionpro Solutions develops enterprise technology products for sectors including banking, payments, transit, mobility, insurance, government and data centres.
The company said it has a workforce of more than 3,000 professionals and operates across domestic as well as international markets.

The additional ₹50 crore order increases Aurionpro's scope of work under the Mumbai Metro project by adding six stations on Metro Line 5 – Phase I. The contract builds on the company's existing engagement with MMRDA for Metro Lines 4 and 4A.
