
Ather Energy Ltd has informed the stock exchanges that its Board of Directors will meet on June 12, 2026, to consider a proposal for raising funds through different financial instruments.
The matter forms part of the agenda for the upcoming board meeting, according to the company's regulatory filing.
The company said the proposal may involve the issue of equity shares, foreign currency convertible bonds (FCCBs), non-convertible debentures (NCDs), warrants or other securities that can be converted into or exchanged for equity shares.
The securities may be denominated in Indian rupees or foreign currencies and may be issued individually or as a combination.
The filing states that the fundraising could be carried out through several permitted routes, including a public issue, rights issue, private placement, qualified institutions placement (QIP) or preferential issue. The company may also adopt any other method allowed under applicable regulations.
The proposal remains subject to approvals from regulators and shareholders, wherever required.
Ather Energy has not disclosed the amount it intends to raise or the timeline for the proposed exercise.
The company also noted that the securities, if approved, may be issued in one or more tranches depending on the structure finalised by the board and the applicable legal framework.
In the same filing, the company said that the trading window for dealing in its securities will remain closed until 48 hours after the declaration of the board meeting outcome, in line with the SEBI (Prohibition of Insider Trading) Regulations and the company's internal code for trading by insiders.
As of June 9, 2026, 12:10 pm, Ather Energy Ltd share price was trading at ₹1,013.15, up 1.09% from the previous closing price.
The board is scheduled to consider the fundraising proposal on 12 June. Details relating to the structure, size, and mode of the proposed issue are expected only after the meeting and any necessary approvals.
