Chairman and Managing Director Kushal Desai said Apar Industries expects its profits to at least double over the next 4-5 years, supported by capacity expansion, growth in the cable segment, increasing presence in the U.S. market and higher investments in power transmission and data centre infrastructure.
The company, which reported revenue of around ₹23,500 crore in the last financial year, is targeting annual revenue additions of ₹4,000-5,000 crore through a combination of organic growth and new capacities. The management is aiming for annual growth of at least 15% over the coming years.
Apar Industries is increasing investments to support its next phase of expansion. After investing around ₹700 crore in the previous year, the company plans to invest another ₹1,500 crore over the next 18 months, taking the total planned investment to around ₹2,200 crore.
More than half of the planned capital expenditure is being allocated towards expanding cable manufacturing capacity, with the company targeting around 25% annual growth in its cable business over the next 5 years.
The U.S. market remains a key focus area for Apar Industries. The company generated around ₹1,600 crore in revenue from the U.S. last year and expects its presence to strengthen further as investments in power transmission and distribution infrastructure increase.
The company also expects to benefit from the expansion of AI-driven data centres, which require significant investments in transmission networks, fibre-optic connectivity, and specialised conductors for power evacuation.
Apart from cables, Apar Industries expects its conductor business to remain an important contributor. According to the management, premium products such as high-temperature low-sag (HTLS) conductors and other specialised solutions continue to support profitability while meeting the increasing demand for power transmission upgrades.
Apar Industries is targeting long-term growth through capacity expansion, cable business investments and increasing opportunities in power infrastructure and data centres. On June 11, Apar Industries share price hit a fresh all-time high and 52-week high as investors tracked the company's expansion plans and growth outlook.
