Antony Waste Handling Cell Ltd said its subsidiary, AG Enviro Infra Projects Private Ltd, has been awarded 2 municipal solid waste collection and transportation contracts by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
The total value of the contracts is about ₹1,330 crore. Each contract has a duration of 7 years.
One of the contracts covers the collection and transportation of around 650 metric tonnes of municipal solid waste per day from Mumbai’s A, B, C, and D wards. The value of this contract is approximately ₹684 crore for the full contract period.
The 2nd contract involves handling close to 600 metric tonnes of waste per day from the N, S and T wards of Mumbai. This contract is valued at about ₹646 crore over 7 years.
Taken together, the 2 contracts involve the handling of nearly 1,250 metric tonnes of municipal solid waste per day across multiple municipal wards in Mumbai.
The waste collected under both contracts will be transported to landfill sites identified by the civic body.
The contracts have been awarded to a consortium in which AG Enviro Infra Projects Private Ltd holds a 51% stake. Jigar Transport Company has a 29% share, while M. K. Enterprises holds the remaining 20%.
As per the contract terms, the collection and transportation work will be carried out using owned new vehicles.
Antony Waste Handling Cell stated that neither its promoters nor members of the promoter group have any interest in the awarding authority. The company also said the contracts do not qualify as related party transactions. Both contracts are domestic and have been awarded by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation.
As of December 18, 2025, 10:14 am, Antony Waste Handling Cell Ltd (AWHCL) share price was trading at ₹509.40, a 17.00% increase from the previous closing price.

The BMC contracts place additional waste collection and transportation responsibilities with Antony Waste’s subsidiary, with execution scheduled across a seven-year period.
