Amrutanjan Health Care Share Price in Focus; Targets 1 Lakh Chemist Outlets in FY27

Amrutanjan Health Care Limited is looking to take its products to more chemists this year, with a target of 1 lakh direct chemist outlets in FY27. The company added 44,000 outlets during FY26 and now wants to push its distribution beyond its traditional strongholds in southern and eastern India.
S.Sambhu Prasad,Chairmanand Managing Director, said the company expects to achieve the 1 lakh outlet target during FY27. The wider plan is to improve the availability of its brands in newer markets while continuing to build on existing ones.
Pain Management and Comfy Drive Growth
Pain management and women's hygiene were the main growth drivers for Amrutanjan in FY26. The company's overall pain-management category recorded 10% growth in gross sales, with headache products growing 8% and body-ache products rising 16%.
Comfy, the company's period-care brand, also continued to expand. Launched in 2013, the brand holds the fourth position nationally in the mass pad segment, according to management.
New Brand and Distribution Plans
Amrutanjan plans to bring back its Relief congestion-relief brand during FY27. The company is also continuing to use rural distribution and smaller-priced packs to reach more consumers in its core markets.
Management said it remains confident about demand this year, pointing to the different value propositions across its product portfolio. Comfy is also being expanded further into the women's wellness space.
FY26 Performance
The company's revenue from operations rose 11.23% to ₹502.55 crore in FY26. Net profit increased nearly 14% to ₹57.92 crore.
Amrutanjan is also putting more of its processes online. Around 70% of critical processes are automated, with management aiming to take that figure close to 100%.
