Bharti Airtel has significantly strengthened its 5G presence across Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh by deploying more than 2,400 new sites over the past year. This expansion has improved network speed, coverage, and overall connectivity for millions of users in both states.
With the rollout now spread across 87 districts, Airtel’s upgraded network is reaching around 36 million customers. The benefits extend beyond major cities to fast-developing towns and remote rural areas, ensuring broader access to high-speed internet.
Airtel has been activating nearly six new sites every day. This has enabled smoother video streaming, quicker downloads, uninterrupted online work and education, and more dependable digital payment services for users across the region.
Customers in important locations such as Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Ujjain, Raipur, Bilaspur, Durg, Korba, Dewas and Rajnandgaon are among those gaining from the improved 5G footprint.
The telecom operator has also increased network density in rural areas, highways, border zones, and economic corridors where connectivity was earlier weak. This step supports growing digital usage in smaller towns and villages.
Ritesh Agrawal, CEO for Airtel’s MP and Chhattisgarh circle, said the expansion highlights Airtel’s strong commitment to connecting every part of Bharat and building a solid digital infrastructure for future growth.
Airtel is a global telecom provider serving over 500 million customers across 17 countries. It offers 4G/5G services, fibre broadband, digital entertainment, payment solutions, and enterprise connectivity services.
