Adani Power has signed a 25-year agreement with UPCL to supply power from 1,320 MW of installed thermal capacity.

Adani Power has signed a 25-year Power Supply Agreement with Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited (UPCL), taking forward a power supply arrangement for Uttarakhand, as per the exchange filing.

The agreement covers an installed thermal power capacity of 1,320 MW, with an ex-bus net supply of 1,234 MW.

Agreement Follows Successful Bid

The Power Supply Agreement was signed after Adani Power was declared the successful bidder in the tender issued by UPCL.

The long-term contract will run for 25 years and covers the supply of thermal power under the terms agreed between the two parties.

1,234 MW Net Power Supply

While the installed capacity covered under the arrangement stands at 1,320 MW, the agreement provides for 1,234 MW of ex-bus net power supply.

The development adds a fresh long-term power supply commitment to Adani Power's project pipeline.

Adani Power Q2 FY27 Earnings Results

Adani Power reported consolidated revenue of ₹19,951 crore in Q2 FY27, up 39.4% year-on-year. EBITDA rose 45.7% to ₹8,743 crore, while profit after tax increased 141.5% to ₹7,019 crore.

Power sales during the quarter grew 11.5% to 26.4 billion units, and the plant load factor improved to 70.1%. The company also achieved grid synchronisation of the first 660 MW unit of its Korba Phase-II project.

As of 05 November 2026, at 10:59 AM, Adani Power Ltd share price is trading at ₹205.28 per share, reflecting a surge of 1.77% from the previous trading session.
