
On July 22, 2026, Adani Power Limited announced its unaudited consolidated financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, as per the exchange filings.
The company reported its highest-ever quarterly operating performance, driven by increased domestic energy demand due to widespread heat waves.
For the June 2026 quarter, Adani Power's total income increased by 32.6% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹19,322.30 crore, compared to ₹14,573.70 crore in the same period last year.
The quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) growth was 20.8% from ₹15,989.09 crore in the March 2026 quarter.
Net profit (PAT) rose 47.2% YoY to ₹4,866.60 crore, up from ₹3,305.13 crore a year ago, and increased 13.9% QoQ from ₹4,271.40 crore in the March 2026 quarter.
The company's record quarterly power generation reached 31 Billion Units (BU), reflecting an 8.8% rise in all-India power consumption.
For the financial year 2026, Adani Power's total income stood at ₹57,865.28 crore, while net profit (PAT) was ₹12,971.08 crore.
During the first quarter, Adani Power executed definitive agreements to acquire power assets of Jaiprakash Associates Limited under the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process.
This includes the 180 MW Churk thermal power plant, a 24% equity stake in Jaiprakash Power Ventures Limited, and an 11.49% stake in Prayagraj Power Generation Company Limited.
These acquisitions are part of Adani Power's plan to scale its total generation capacity to 45 GW.

Adani Power's Board of Directors has approved a capital raising plan, allowing the issuance of equity shares or other eligible securities up to ₹15,000 crore via a Qualified Institutions Placement (QIP) or other modes.
The board also approved increasing the company's total borrowing limits from ₹75,000 crore to ₹1,00,000 crore. An Extra-Ordinary General Meeting (EGM) is scheduled for August 14, 2026, to seek shareholder approvals for these initiatives.
As of July 22, 2026, at 2:34 PM, Adani Power share price on NSE was trading at ₹217.40, down by 1.35% from the previous closing price.
