ACME Solar Holdings Limited has commissioned Phase-I of the Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) component of its Rajasthan project, as per an exchange filing dated September 14, 2026.

The company completed the commissioning on September 14, 2026, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, ACME Greentech Seventh Private Limited.

53.63 MW/300 MWh Added

The commissioned phase has a capacity of 53.63 MW/300 MWh. It forms part of a 300 MW/1,581 MWh Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project located at Village Kelan, Tehsil Chhatargarh, District Bikaner, Rajasthan.

Renewable Energy Work Continues

The battery storage facility is the only component of the project commissioned so far. The renewable energy generation component of the project remains under development, according to ACME Solar.

The company has not provided a completion timeline for the renewable energy generation component in its disclosure. The commissioned BESS capacity therefore represents part of the wider 300 MW/1,581 MWh project.
