ACME Solar Share Price in Focus; Secures 300 MW Capacity in SECI’s 6,000 MWh Tender

ACME Solar Holdings Limited has secured 300 MW of capacity in a Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) tender for assured peak power supply, as per an exchange filing dated August 25, 2026.
The company was among the successful bidders in an e-reverse auction held under SECI’s FDRE-IX tender. The tender is for the supply of 6,000 MWh of renewable energy from interstate transmission system-connected projects.
It is structured around 1,500 MW of capacity supplying power for four hours.
Capacity Secured at ₹6 Per Unit
ACME Solar secured its 300 MW capacity at a tariff of ₹6 per kWh. Based on the four-hour supply requirement, the contracted capacity translates into 1,200 MWh of electricity.
The tender was conducted through tariff-based competitive bidding for renewable power developers. ACME Solar will be required to provide the contracted supply during the four-hour period specified under the project terms.
Project Preparations Underway
The company said it has the required connectivity grant for the project. It has also secured a substantial portion of the land needed for development.
ACME Solar noted that these factors could reduce the time required to execute the project and help with commissioning. The project will proceed further after the power purchase agreement is executed.
Storage Portfolio to Increase
The project will add 1.2 GWh to ACME Solar’s battery energy storage portfolio once the power purchase agreement is signed. The 1.2 GWh figure is based on the 300 MW capacity and the four-hour supply period.
Following the addition, the company’s PPA-signed battery energy storage system pipeline is expected to reach about 15 GWh.
