ACME Solar Holdings Limited has announced progress in its wind energy project through its subsidiary, signalling continued capacity addition in its renewable portfolio. Such operational updates are typically tracked by investors assessing execution progress and future generation potential.
The company informed that its subsidiary, ACME Eco Clean Energy Private Limited, has commissioned an additional 4 MW capacity as part of its 100 MW wind power project.
The project is located in Dhakaniya village in Gujarat’s Surendranagar district, an area known for wind energy development.
With this latest addition, the total commissioned capacity of the project has reached 92 MW out of the planned 100 MW. This indicates that a substantial portion of the project is already operational, with the remaining capacity expected to be commissioned in due course.
The steady pace of commissioning reflects ongoing execution of the company’s renewable energy pipeline.
The commissioning has been verified by officials from the Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA) and Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited (PGVCL). A formal certification is expected to be issued shortly.
Such confirmations are part of the standard process to validate operational readiness and grid integration.
Incremental capacity additions can contribute to future revenue visibility, especially in the renewable energy sector where projects are typically backed by long-term power purchase agreements.
However, the overall financial impact will depend on factors such as tariff structures, plant load factors, and timely completion of the remaining capacity.
