ACME Solar Holdings Limited has successfully commissioned the fifth phase of its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Rajasthan. This milestone adds significant capacity to their renewable energy portfolio. 

Details of the Fifth Phase Commissioning 

On April 6, 2026, ACME Solar Holdings, through its subsidiary ACME Suryodaya Private Limited, commissioned the fifth phase of its BESS project.  

This phase includes 76 MW/160.512 MWh, contributing to the project's total capacity of 285 MW/601.904 MWh. The project is located in Sanwara and Mehar Nagar, Jaisalmer district. 

The commercial operation date for this phase is set for April 8, 2026. With this development, ACME Suryodaya has achieved a commissioned capacity of 247 MW/521.652 MWh. 

Additional Project Developments 

In a parallel development, ACME Sun Power Private Limited, another subsidiary of ACME Solar Holdings, commissioned the fifth phase of a separate BESS project in Badi Sid, Phalodi and Jodhpur districts.  

This phase consists of 33.334 MW/160.48 MWh, contributing to a total project capacity of 300 MW/1,409.34 MWh. 

As of April 6, 2026, ACME Sun Power has reached a commissioned capacity of 166.670 MW/802.460 MWh. The commercial operation date for this phase is also April 8, 2026. 

Significance of These Developments 

The commissioning of these phases marks a significant step in ACME Solar Holdings' efforts to expand its renewable energy footprint.  

The projects are part of a broader strategy to enhance energy storage capabilities, crucial for integrating renewable energy sources into the grid.
