ACME Solar Holdings Limited has commissioned an additional 35.7 MW / 160.5 MWh of battery energy storage system (BESS) capacity in Rajasthan, as per an exchange filing dated April 30, 2026.  

The capacity has been added through its wholly owned subsidiary, ACME Surya Power Private Limited.  

Commissioning and Operational Date 

The company stated that the new capacity was commissioned on 29 April 2026. The commercial operation date (COD) has been fixed as 1 May 2026.  

The update follows an earlier communication in April regarding ongoing capacity additions at the same project site. 

Project Location 

The BESS project is located in Jaimalsar village in the Bikaner district of Rajasthan. The site forms part of the company’s renewable energy operations in the state.  

No additional details on project cost, contracts, or end-use arrangements were disclosed in the filing. 

Total Commissioned Capacity 

With the latest addition, the cumulative commissioned BESS capacity of ACME Surya Power has reached 175.223 MW / 787.387 MWh.  

The increase is indicative of a continuation of capacity additions in battery storage alongside existing renewable assets.

ACME Solar Holdings Share Price Performance  

As of April 30, 2026, 11:02 am, ACME Solar Holdings Ltd share price was trading at ₹302.50, a 0.20% decrease from the previous closing price. 

Conclusion 

The commissioning brings ACME Solar’s total battery storage capacity close to 787 MWh. The additional capacity is scheduled to be operational from 1 May 2026, based on the company’s disclosure.
