ACME Solar Holdings Limited has announced the commissioning of the second phase of its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Rajasthan.
The update was disclosed under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
The company, through its wholly owned subsidiary ACME Suryodaya Private Limited, has commissioned 38 MW/82 MWh under Phase-II of the larger 285 MW/600 MWh BESS project.
The project is located at Village Sanwara and Mehar Nagar, Tehsil Pokhran, District Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The Commercial Operation Date (COD) for Phase-II has been scheduled for March 5, 2026.
This development follows an earlier intimation dated February 25, 2026, regarding progress on the project.
Battery Energy Storage Systems play a key role in integrating renewable energy into the grid by stabilising supply and managing peak demand. With increasing renewable capacity additions across India, storage infrastructure is becoming a critical component of energy transition strategies.
The commissioning of additional capacity strengthens ACME Solar’s position in utility-scale renewable and storage solutions.
As of 1:15 PM on March 4, 2026, shares of ACME Solar Holdings Limited were trading at ₹222.96, registering a decline of ₹9.32 or 4.01% compared to the previous close of ₹232.28.

The commissioning of Phase-II of the Rajasthan BESS project marks incremental progress in ACME Solar’s storage portfolio expansion. While the operational update reflects capacity growth, short-term share price movement appears influenced by broader market trends and investor positioning.
