The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty50 closed higher on Wednesday, reflecting positive global market trends. The Sensex hit an intra-day high of 80,511.15 before closing at 80,234.08, up 230.02 points or 0.29%. Similarly, the Nifty50 ended at 24,274.90, gaining 80.40 points or 0.33%, after moving between 24,354.55 and 24,145.65 during the day.

• Adani Enterprises

Adani Enterprises share price closed today at ₹2,399.00, marking a rise of11.56%. Adani Group stocks traded strong on Wednesday, rising up to 6% on the BSE during intra-day trade. The gains followed a clarification from Adani Green Energy, which stated that allegations under the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) against Gautam Adani, Sagar Adani, and senior executive Vneet Jaain by the US Department of Justice (DoJ) are “incorrect.” However, the company admitted that the executives are facing 3 other charges, including securities fraud and wire fraud, as outlined in the indictment.

• Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone share price closed today at ₹1,195.50, marking a rise of 5.9%. It has a market capitalisation of ₹2.58 lakh crore, a P/E ratio of 26.33, and a dividend yield of 0.50%. Over the past year, the stock hit a 52-week high of ₹1,621.40 and a low of ₹806.00.

• Bharat Electronics
