Allied Digital’s Latest Win: Transforming Pune into a Safer Smart City

In a landmark development, Allied Digital Services Limited, a leading IT services company, has been awarded the prestigious Pune Safe City Project. With a contract value of over Rs 430 crore, this project aims to significantly boost the city’s surveillance and security infrastructure using cutting-edge technology.

- Comprehensive Surveillance: The project will be executed in two tracks. Track 1 will involve the operation and maintenance (O&M) of existing cameras for six years. Track 2 will introduce new infrastructure within 12 months, followed by five years of O&M.
- Advanced Technology: To enhance Pune’s security, Allied Digital will deploy advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI)-enabled cameras, featuring:
- Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system
- Vehicle Over-speed Detection System (VDS)
- Facial Recognition System (FRS)
- Drones and mobile surveillance vans
These technologies will work together to improve surveillance and ensure public safety.
- Infrastructure Upgrade: A key component of the project is upgrading the existing Command-and-Control Center at the Pune Police headquarters. With the addition of new software and data centers, the city will experience real-time, 24/7 monitoring at an improved efficiency level.
