MTAR Tech Shares Extended Gains For 2nd Straight Day: Rose Another 6%

On December 20, 2024, MTAR Tech shares rose by 6%, extending the previous day’s 5% gain after the company announced securing multiple orders valued at ₹226 crore. MTAR Technologies shares opened at ₹1,690.10 and touched the day high of ₹1,718.50 at 10:10 AM.
MTAR Secured Multiple Orders Worth ₹226 Crore
- The largest order, valued at ₹190.9 crore, is from Bloom Energy Corporation, a key client responsible for nearly two-thirds of MTAR Tech’s revenue. This order, which is part of the company’s regular business with Bloom Energy, needs to be executed by October 2025.
- IAI Ltd: MTAR Tech also secured an order from IAI Ltd., following the signing of a 15-year long-term agreement with the company. This order, worth ₹15.31 crore, involves supplying mission-critical assemblies for the aviation sector and must be completed by December 2025.
- The third order, valued at ₹7.99 crore, is from Rafael Advanced Defence Systems Ltd., with an execution deadline of April 2026.
- The fourth order, worth ₹11.74 crore, comes from IMI Systems Ltd., with a completion deadline of April 2025.
MTAR Technologies Q2 FY25 Results
MTAR Technologies reported a revenue from operations of ₹190.2 crore in Q2FY25, marking a 14% year-on-year increase compared to ₹166.8 crore in Q2FY24. The company’s EBITDA stood at ₹36.8 crore, reflecting a modest 2% growth from ₹36.1 crore in the same quarter last year. However, Profit Before Tax (PBT) declined by 1.5% YoY, reaching ₹25.3 crore in Q2FY25, down from ₹25.7 crore in Q2FY24. Similarly, Profit After Tax (PAT) saw an 8.2% decrease, standing at ₹18.8 crore in Q2FY25, compared to ₹20.5 crore in Q2FY24.
