Thomas Cook India Unveils New App for Hassle-Free Holiday Planning

On August 21, 2024, Thomas Cook (India) Limited and its Group Company, SOTC Travel, introduced a new Customer Self-Service (CSS) holiday app, building on their digital-first strategy.
This app, available for both iOS and Android, offers a smooth, end-to-end post-booking experience for customers.
Previously, managing post-booking tasks like visas, flights, hotel vouchers, itineraries, attractions, and receipts was often stressful and time-consuming. The new CSS app simplifies this process, providing an easy-to-use interface that makes these tasks much more convenient. After piloting the app in April 2024, it has been well received, with a 50% customer adoption rate.
Key Features of the Customer Self-Service App
- All-in-One Booking Info: Customers can check details of their trips, including flights, hotel stays, sightseeing plans, transportation, guides, and meal choices.
- 24/7 Access: The app is available anytime, from anywhere.
- Travel Documents: Users can easily access flight tickets, visa requirements, forms, hotel vouchers, and insurance details.
- Real-Time Updates: The app provides updates on visa status, weather conditions, and other important travel info, helping to speed up processes.
- Omnichannel Convenience: The app works for customers who booked their trips online, offline, or through a mix of both.
Mr Rajeev Kale, President and Country Head – Holidays, MICE, Visa, Thomas Cook (India) Limited, said, “We are consistently exploring ways to deliver a truly seamless experience for our customers. I am hence delighted with the launch of our CSS app, which empowers our customers by providing them with simplified post-booking services at their fingertips.
