NTPC Green Starts Full Operations of Shajapur Solar Project Unit II

NTPC Green Energy Ltd, a fully-owned subsidiary of NTPC Ltd, announced that Unit II of the Shajapur Solar Project in Madhya Pradesh is now fully operational. This update was shared through a stock exchange filing on Sunday, June 29, 2025.
Project Overview
Earlier in March, the company had completed Unit I with a capacity of 105 MW. With Unit II adding 120 MW, the total installed capacity has reached 325 MW.
This solar project is part of a 450 MW solar park planned in the Shajapur district. The project will have three units in total:
- Unit I: 105 MW (completed)
- Unit II: 120 MW (completed)
- Unit III: 125 MW (yet to be commissioned)
