Aurum PropTech Boosts Growth with K2V2 Realignment and Increased Equity Stake

Aurum PropTech has strategically realigned K2V2 Technologies to sharpen its focus on core technology offerings and streamline its distribution business. K2V2, a leading PropTech company, provides enterprise tech solutions through its flagship product, Sell.do, which is used by over 650 developers.
Sell.do combines AI and CRM technology to improve efficiency in marketing, sales, service, and customer success, helping brands connect with customers more effectively by simplifying tasks like property searches, scheduling visits, rent payments, and service requests.
This realignment aligns with Aurum PropTech’s goal of strengthening its distribution vertical and building a tech-focused cluster that boosts profitability and better manages working capital.
The move offers 6 key benefits-
- Improved Profitability: By exiting less profitable services, K2V2 can now focus on its core tech business, driving profitable growth in the distribution vertical.
- Better Cash Flow: The shift eliminates long payment cycles in the exited services, leading to more stable cash flow and a self-sustaining growth model.
- Increased Efficiency: Revenue per employee has grown by about 40%, increasing from ₹16 lakhs to ₹22 lakhs annually.
- Entrepreneurial Commitment: Two of K2V2’s three founders are now fully dedicated to expanding the company’s technology business, further supporting growth.
- Efficient equity realignment: As part of this strategic realignment, Aurum PropTech has increased its equity stake in K2V2 to 83.6% by investing ₹24 crore. This increased ownership, along with the focus on core technology operations, will help accelerate growth in the distribution vertical.
- Synergies for International GTM: Additionally, the integration of core tech offerings creates opportunities for a joint international go-to-market (GTM) strategy. With solutions like data analytics, property management, and sales automation, Aurum’s distribution cluster will support real estate developers in managing and selling properties at scale globally.
Speaking about the acquisition, Mr Onkar Shetye, Director of Aurum PropTech, said, “The realignment of K2V2 will ensure that our distribution cluster offerings have key elements of fundamentally sound and sustainable businesses with improved revenue, profitability, efficient cashflow management, proven and potential for scale and leadership drive and put more growth tailwinds within the Aurum PropTech ecosystem and take us to the next phase of growth scale”.
