In a significant step towards improving digital infrastructure in India’s pension sector, the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) has launched a newly revamped website under its outreach programme, PFRDA CONNECT.
The platform was officially unveiled on 4 August 2025 by PFRDA Chairperson S. Ramann in New Delhi. The upgrade aligns with the government’s digital standards and is aimed at promoting easier access and broader engagement for pension subscribers, intermediaries, and the general public.
The refreshed website introduces a responsive design with streamlined content and smoother navigation. It includes centralised access to regulatory announcements, updates on pension schemes, and a modern content management system.
The new portal is fully compliant with the Guidelines for Indian Government Websites (GIGW) and international accessibility norms (WCAG), reinforcing PFRDA’s focus on inclusivity and digital transparency. Integration with other regulatory systems and enhanced search functionalities are additional features meant to simplify the user experience.
Through this initiative, PFRDA aims to create a tech-enabled, user-friendly ecosystem that improves how subscribers and intermediaries interact with pension services. By bringing regulatory information and pension resources under one easy-to-navigate platform, the authority intends to facilitate timely awareness and decision-making. The platform’s seamless integration is expected to set a new benchmark for accessibility within government-run digital systems.
