Motorists in Delhi have a great chance to clear their pending traffic challans on Saturday, September 13, 2025, during the National Lok Adalat. This event is jointly organised by the Delhi Traffic Police and the Delhi State Legal Services Authority.

It allows people to settle compoundable traffic violations quickly, often at reduced fines.

Where Will the National Lok Adalat Be Held?

The Lok Adalat will be held across seven court complexes in Delhi:

  • Patiala House
  • Karkardooma
  • Rouse Avenue
  • Tis Hazari
  • Dwarka
  • Saket
  • Rohini

The sessions will run from 10 A.M. to 4 P.M.

How to Download Pending Challans Before the National Lok Adalat?

To take part in this initiative, motorists must download and print their challans or notices in advance. There are two ways to do this:

  1. Visit the Delhi Traffic Police website
  2. Scan the QR code sent by the department

The download option opened on September 8 at 10 A.M., and there's a daily limit of 60,000 challans, with a total cap of 180,000. Authorities advise users to download early to avoid missing the limit.

During the Lok Adalat, each individual can settle:

  • Up to 2 challans and 5 notices for private vehicles
  • Up to 2 challans or notices for commercial vehicles

  • The vehicle’s Registration Certificate (RC)
  • A valid ID proof of the vehicle owner
