Nifty 50 Slips Slightly; Hindalco, Grasim Lead Gainers on July 14

On Monday, July 14, 2025, the Indian benchmark index Nifty 50 opened at 25,149.50 and was at 25,114.05, down by 0.14%, as of 10:04 AM. As of the same time, it touched the day’s high so far at 25,151.10 and day’s low at 25,041.90. 

Nifty Next 50 and Nifty Midcap Select were in green, while Nifty Financial Services was in the red. 

5 Nifty 50 Top Gainers

The top 5 gainers on the Nifty 50 stocks are, Hindalco IndustriesGrasim IndustriesIndusInd BankEternal (Zomato)and M&M. These stocks were trading up 1.36%, 1.29%, 1.07%, 1.01% and 0.74%, respectively. 

5 Nifty 50 Top Losers

The top 5 losers on the Nifty 50 stocks are, Bajaj FinanceHCL TechnologiesEicher MotorsInfosys and Nestle India. These stocks were trading down by 1.75%, 1.41%, 1.11%, 1.06% and 0.95%, respectively. 

Sectoral Performance: Nifty Private Bank Leads

As of 10:17 AM, Nifty Financial Services 25/50 and Nifty IT were trading in the red. All the other sectoral indices were in the green.

Conclusion 

As of mid-morning trade on July 14, 2025, the Nifty 50 remained slightly negative, weighed down by select large-cap stocks. Sectoral performance was mixed, with private banks leading the gains.
