The Wealth Company Mutual Fund has submitted the Scheme Information Document (SID) for The Wealth Company Large Cap Fund, an open-ended equity scheme focused predominantly on large-cap stocks.
The proposed New Fund Offer (NFO) will seek long-term capital appreciation by investing mainly in equity and equity-related securities of large-cap companies.
The scheme has been assigned a Very High-Risk rating. Its benchmark will be the NIFTY 100 Total Return Index (TRI), which is intended to represent the large-cap segment of the market.
Asset Allocation and Investment Approach
The scheme will maintain 80% to 100% of its assets in equity and equity-related instruments of large-cap companies. Up to 20% can be invested in other equity and equity-related instruments, while money market instruments can account for up to 20%.
The scheme can also invest up to 10% in InvITs and up to 5% in Gold and Silver ETFs. The fund will follow an active investment strategy, using fundamental research, bottom-up stock selection and consideration of broader structural trends.
The portfolio is intended to include companies across sectors, with factors such as management quality, historical performance, valuations, earnings growth and execution considered during stock selection.
