Upcoming NFO: Mirae Asset Mutual Fund Files for Mirae Asset MSCI India Capital Markets Select ETF

Mirae Asset Mutual Fund has filed a draft Scheme Information Document for the Mirae Asset MSCI India Capital Markets Select ETF.
The open-ended scheme will track the MSCI India Capital Markets Select Index. The draft does not specify the NFO opening and closing dates.
It states that the offer will remain open for at least three working days and cannot exceed 15 days, including any extension.
Investment Objective and Asset Allocation
The scheme aims to generate returns, before expenses, in line with the performance of the underlying index, subject to tracking error. It does not guarantee returns.
Under normal conditions, 95% to 100% of its assets will be invested in securities forming part of the index. The remaining 0% to 5% may be held in money market instruments, debt securities and units of domestic debt or liquid mutual fund schemes.
Index Constituents
As of September 30, 2026, the index had 22 constituents. Multi Commodity Exchange of India had the highest weight at 16.2%, followed by BSE at 15.1% and HDFC Asset Management Company at 11.8%. Billionbrains Garage (Groww) accounted for 7%, while 360 ONE WAM had a weight of 6.5%.
The index uses the MSCI India Domestic IMI Index as its parent index. Its selection criteria cover companies classified under the capital markets industry and certain businesses in data processing and outsourced services.
Securities generally need a six-month trading frequency of at least 90% to qualify. Individual stock weights are capped at 15% during index reviews, subject to the index methodology.
Minimum Investment and Fund Management
The minimum application during the New Fund Offer (NFO) is ₹5,000, with additional investments in multiples of ₹1. The scheme has no exit load and does not offer SIP, STP or SWP facilities.
Ritesh Patel and Akshay Udeshi have been named as the fund managers.
