Groww Mutual Fund has unveiled the Groww Nifty Next 50 Index Fund, an open-ended index scheme designed to closely track the performance of the Nifty Next 50 Total Returns Index (TRI).
The New Fund Offer (NFO) window will be open from August 6 to August 20, providing investors a timely opportunity to participate.
This scheme focuses on investing in the 50 companies ranked immediately after the Nifty 50, selected based on free-float market capitalisation within the broader Nifty 100 universe. The underlying index is reviewed quarterly and follows a strict rules-based methodology to ensure consistent tracking.
The scheme aims to replicate the index's composition and weightage as accurately as possible. While the fund seeks to deliver returns before expenses in line with the index, it is important to note that the achievement of its investment objective is not guaranteed, and tracking errors may occur.
The fund’s portfolio will be managed by experienced professionals Nikhil Satam, Aakash Chauhan, and Shashi Kumar.
To enhance precision and efficiency, the AMC will utilise its proprietary SPEARTech platform. This advanced system automates portfolio rebalancing and trade execution, helping to minimise tracking error and improve overall fund performance.

The Nifty Next 50 Index comprises companies spanning various sectors and is designed to reduce concentration risk by distributing weight more evenly compared to the Nifty 50. According to NSE data, the index has delivered an impressive 10-year compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of approximately 14% as of July 21, 2025.
