
The mutual fund industry witnessed notable developments as SBI Mutual Fund's Magnum SIF emerged as the largest in terms of AUM by March 2026.
This reflects strategic growth in the segment amidst growing investor participation.
According to AMFI data, the cumulative average AUM of Specialised Investment Funds (SIFs) for January to March 2026 was ₹8,120 crore.
SBI Mutual Fund led with its Magnum SIF, managing ₹2,994.85 crore, capturing a significant industry share.
Edelweiss Mutual Fund’s Altiva SIF followed closely at ₹2,366.40 crore, highlighting fierce competition among top fund houses.
ICICI Prudential AMC secured third place with iSIF SIF at an AUM of ₹1,035.72 crore.
Quant Mutual Fund's qsif SIF managed ₹866.71 crore, while Tata Mutual Fund ranked fifth with its Titanium SIF at ₹404.18 crore.
Investor interest in SIFs was also evident through folio counts. ICICI Prudential’s iSIF SIF led with 14,512 folios.
SBI’s Magnum SIF followed with 11,266 folios, while Quant’s qsif SIF recorded 7,194 folios. Edelweiss’s Altiva SIF and Tata’s Titanium SIF had 5,330 and 2,879 folios, respectively.
Between December 2025 and March 2026, there was noticeable growth in SIF folios. Altiva SIF experienced a remarkable 130% increase.
Titanium SIF and Diviniti SIF by ITI Mutual Fund recorded growths of 52% and 48%, respectively. The Magnum SIF saw a 33% rise, and qsif SIF reported a 12% increase.

The AUM and folio data underlines a concentrated leadership in SIF assets among a few key players, led by SBI's Magnum SIF. The growth in folios also shows increasing investor confidence in the SIF category, particularly in products by Edelweiss and Tata.
