Small Cap NFO 2025 by Mirae Asset to Open on January 10 For Subscription

Mirae Asset Mutual Fund has unveiled its latest offering, the Mirae Asset Small Cap Fund, designed for investors seeking exposure to small-cap stocks. The new fund offer (NFO) opens for subscription on January 10, 2025, and closes on January 25, 2025. It will reopen for continuous sale and repurchase on February 3, 2025.
Investment Objective
The primary objective of the Mirae Asset Small Cap Fund is to generate capital appreciation by investing predominantly in small-cap stocks. To create an optimal portfolio, the fund manager may also include other equity and equity-related securities.
Benchmark and Fund Management
The scheme will be benchmarked against the Nifty Small Cap 250 Total Return Index. It will be jointly managed by experienced fund managers Varun Goel and Siddharth Srivastava.
Investment Allocation
The fund’s asset allocation strategy is as follows:
- 65-100%: Equity and equity-related securities of small-cap companies.
- 0-35%: Equity and equity-related securities other than small-cap companies.
- 0-35%: Debt and money market instruments.
- 0-35%: Overseas mutual fund schemes, ETFs, and foreign securities.
- 0-10%: Units issued by REITs and InvITs.
Exit Load Structure
For investors who opt for Systematic Withdrawal Plans (SWP):
- 15% of units allotted can be redeemed within 365 days without any exit load.
- Redemption exceeding this limit within 365 days will attract an exit load of 1%.
- Redemptions after 365 days will have no exit load.
For investors who do not opt for SWP:
- Redemption within 365 days: 1% exit load.
- Redemption after 365 days: No exit load.
Minimum Investment Requirements
- Lump sum investments: Minimum of ₹5,000, with additional investments in multiples of ₹1.
- SIP investments: Minimum of ₹99, with increments in multiples of ₹1.
