SBI Funds Management's Investment in ADF Foods 

On April 24, 2026, SBI Funds Management purchased a 2% equity stake in ADF Foods, a company known for its range of condiments, pastes, and ready-to-eat products.  

The acquisition was executed via open market transactions, involving the purchase of 13,00,000 shares at ₹259.98 each and 9,00,000 shares at ₹260 each.  

The total outlay for SBI Funds was approximately ₹57.19 crore, marking a strong investment in the food processing sector. 

ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund Enhances Pfizer Holdings 

In another notable transaction, ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund expanded its stake in Pfizer by acquiring 4,00,000 shares at ₹4,700 each, totalling ₹188 crore.  

This strategic purchase increased its holdings in the pharmaceutical giant, amidst notable trading volumes. This follows ICICI Prudential's existing 2.16% holding in Pfizer as of March 2026. 

Market Reactions and Stake Changes 

The market responded to these transactions with varying impacts on stock prices. ADF Foods experienced a 4.44% increase in its share price to ₹260.15, attributed to high trading volumes and market optimism. On the other hand, Pfizer shares saw a slight dip of 0.42% to ₹4,700 on the BSE.
