Samco Mutual Fund to Launch Multi Asset Allocation Fund

Samco Mutual Fund is to introduce the Samco Multi Asset Allocation Fund, an open-ended investment scheme designed to offer diversified exposure across asset classes. The New Fund Offer (NFO) is scheduled to open on December 4, 2024, and will close on December 18, 2024.
Investment Focus & Benchmark
The fund is structured to invest in equity, fixed-income instruments, exchange-traded commodity derivatives, units of Gold and Silver ETFs, and units of REITs and InvITs in order to balance capital appreciation and income generation over the long term. The scheme’s performance will be benchmarked against a composite index comprising:
- 65% Nifty 50 TRI,
- 20% CRISIL Short Term Bond Fund Index,
- 10% Domestic Price of Gold, and
- 5% Domestic Price of Silver.
Fund Management
The fund will be managed by a team of professionals, including Nirali Bhansali, Umeshkumar Mehta, and Dhawal Ghanshyam Dhanani.
Key Features
- Minimum Investment: Investors can start with a lump-sum investment of ₹5,000, with additional investments in multiples of ₹1. Systematic Investment Plans (SIPs) are available starting at Rs 500 per month for a minimum of 12 installments.
- Asset Allocation: The fund adopts an allocation model, allowing flexibility between equity, debt, and commodity assets depending on market conditions.
- NFO Price: Units will be offered at ₹10 per unit during the NFO period.
