Nippon India Mutual Fund has opened its New Fund Offer (NFO) for the Nippon India CRISIL-IBX FAR Gilt ETF on September 29, 2026. The NFO will remain open for subscription until October 12, 2026.

The scheme is an open-ended debt fund in the Gilt category. Investors can enter the fund with a minimum investment of ₹1,000. The scheme is available under the Growth plan.

Investment Objective

The fund will seek to generate returns in line with the total returns of securities represented by the CRISIL-IBX FAR Gilt Index, before expenses.

The returns may differ from those of the underlying index because of tracking errors. The scheme will therefore focus on securities represented by its stated benchmark rather than following an actively managed debt strategy.

Fund Management

The Nippon India CRISIL-IBX FAR Gilt ETF will be managed by Pranay Sinha and Vivek Sharma.

The fund's benchmark is the CRISIL-IBX FAR Gilt Index. The scheme falls under the Debt: Gilt category, which places it within the debt fund segment focused on government securities.

Charges and Risk Details

The scheme does not have an exit load, with the applicable exit load listed as zero. There is also no lock-in period specified for the fund.

The riskometer for the scheme is marked as Moderate. This indicates the risk classification assigned to the fund under the scheme's stated risk framework.

What Investors Should Know

The NFO is structured as an open-ended scheme, meaning there is no fixed maturity or lock-in period mentioned for investors. Its investment objective is tied to the performance of the CRISIL-IBX FAR Gilt Index, subject to tracking differences and expenses.
