HDFC Mutual Fund has introduced a new open-ended index scheme called the HDFC BSE India Sector Leaders Index Fund. The New Fund Offer (NFO) opens on November 7, 2025, and closes on November 21, 2025.
The minimum investment amount is ₹100, with additional investments in multiples of ₹100. The Net Asset Value (NAV) will be calculated daily. The fund falls under the Equity – Index sub-category and carries a very high-risk rating.
The fund aims to provide returns that correspond to the performance of the BSE India Sector Leaders Index (TRI), before expenses and fees. The performance of the fund will depend on how closely it can track the movements of the index. The scheme does not offer any assurance or guarantee of returns.
The BSE India Sector Leaders Index consists of top-performing companies from key sectors of the Indian economy. It includes firms that are considered leaders within their respective industries, such as banking, information technology, healthcare, consumer goods, and energy. The index is to reflect the overall performance of these leading companies across multiple sectors.
The scheme will be managed by Nandita Menezes. It is an open-ended equity index fund that allows investors to subscribe, redeem, or repurchase units on any business day based on the applicable NAV. The exit load will apply as specified in the fund documents for redemptions made within the defined period.
As an equity index-based product, the scheme carries a very high-risk classification. Investors will have daily liquidity, and repurchase or redemption will be available at the applicable NAV on business days.
