Edelweiss Mutual Fund has launched the Edelweiss Nifty LargeMidcap 250 ETF. The New Fund Offer (NFO) will open on August 29, 2025 and close on September 2, 2025. The scheme will follow a daily Net Asset Value (NAV) calculation.
The scheme is to provide returns that correspond to the performance of the Nifty LargeMidcap 250 Index, subject to tracking errors. It will invest in equity and equity-related securities in the same proportion as the index. The fund notes that there is no assurance that its objective will be met.
This is an open-ended Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) under the “Others” category. Investors can buy or sell units of the ETF on stock exchanges after listing. Repurchase and redemption will also be available in line with exchange mechanisms.
The minimum investment amount for the NFO is ₹5,000, with incremental investments also set at ₹5,000. There is no exit load for this scheme. And at the same time, there is no lock-in period.
The scheme has been classified as carrying a very high risk level. As with all ETFs, returns are dependent on market conditions and the performance of the underlying index.
The ETF will be managed by Bhavesh Jain, who will oversee replication of the index and daily NAV calculations.
The Nifty LargeMidcap 250 Index comprises a mix of large-cap and mid-cap companies. The index brings together growth potential from mid-cap firms along with exposure to larger, more established companies.
The Edelweiss Nifty LargeMidcap 250 ETF NFO will remain open from August 29 to September 2, 2025. It offers investors access to a basket of large- and mid-cap stocks through an exchange-traded fund.
