Edelweiss Mutual Fund has opened the New Fund Offer (NFO) of the Edelweiss BSE Top 10 Bank ETF. The subscription window will remain open from 23 July to 30 July 2026.
The scheme is an open-ended exchange traded fund (ETF) that seeks to track the BSE Top 10 Bank Total Return Index. After the NFO closes, the scheme is expected to reopen for continuous transactions on or before 13 August 2026.
The ETF will follow a passive investment approach. It aims to mirror the performance of the BSE Top 10 Bank Total Return Index by investing in the same stocks and in broadly the same weight as the index.
Under normal market conditions, 95% to 100% of the portfolio will be invested in index constituents, while the remaining up to 5% may be held in money market instruments, cash or liquid schemes to meet operational requirements.
The minimum application amount during the NFO is ₹5,000, with additional investment allowed in multiples of Re 1. The offer price will be linked to 1/1000th of the closing value of the BSE Top 10 Bank Index on the allotment date.
The scheme does not have an exit load. Once listed, units can be bought and sold on the stock exchanges in lots of one unit, while brokerage and other transaction charges applicable to exchange trades will apply.
Bhavesh Jain will manage the fund. The ETF is proposed to be listed on both the NSE and BSE. The scheme's Net Asset Value (NAV) will be calculated and disclosed daily after allotment.
According to the scheme information document, the investment objective is to generate returns in line with the benchmark index, subject to tracking error, and there is no guarantee that this objective will be achieved.
The scheme has been assigned a 'Very High' risk rating, similar to its benchmark index. The scheme information document advises investors to assess whether the product is suitable for their investment objectives before investing.
