Choice Mutual Fund has introduced a new scheme named Choice Gold ETF-G under the Others – Gold ETFs category. The New Fund Offer (NFO) will open and close on October 24, 2025. It is an open-ended exchange-traded fund, which allows investors to buy and sell units on the stock exchange. The Net Asset Value (NAV) will be calculated on a daily basis.
The main objective of the scheme is to provide returns that are in line with the domestic price of gold, before accounting for expenses and tracking errors. The fund will invest primarily in physical gold and gold-related instruments. The scheme does not guarantee or assure the achievement of its stated objective.
The minimum investment amount for this scheme is ₹1,000, with no incremental investment requirement. The scheme carries a high-risk rating, reflecting potential fluctuations due to changes in gold prices and market movements. There is no exit load mentioned for the scheme.
The fund will be managed by Rochan Pattnayak. As per the fund structure, investors can repurchase or redeem their units through the exchange mechanism. The NAV will be published daily, providing regular price updates.
Being a part of the Gold ETF sub-category, the fund is meant for those seeking exposure to gold without directly holding the physical asset. Since it is an open-ended scheme, it offers liquidity through the exchange where it will be listed.
