NFO Alert: Baroda BNP Paribas Mutual Fund Introduces Services Fund

Baroda BNP Paribas Mutual Fund has launched the Baroda BNP Paribas Services Fund, an open-ended thematic equity scheme investing in companies linked to India's services sector. The New Fund Offer (NFO) is open for subscription and will close on July 28, 2026.
During the offer period, units are available at a face value of ₹10 each.
Portfolio to Cover Multiple Service Sectors
The scheme will invest across a range of service-oriented businesses instead of focusing on a single industry. Its investment universe comprises around 195 companies from the Nifty 500 Index, including large-cap, mid-cap and small-cap stocks.
The sectors covered include banking and financial services (BFSI), information technology (IT), IT-enabled services (ITeS), telecommunications, healthcare, diversified retail, e-commerce, digital infrastructure and other businesses where services form the primary source of revenue.
Investment Framework
According to the scheme details, the fund will follow a bottom-up stock selection approach while considering business quality, earnings potential and scalability.
The portfolio will be diversified across different segments of the services economy, rather than being restricted to one sector.
The fund house said the services sector remains the largest contributor to India's Gross Value Added (GVA), ahead of manufacturing and agriculture.
It also noted that digital adoption, financial inclusion, rising household incomes, healthcare spending, and consumption trends continue to influence growth across service industries.
Budget Context and Investment
The launch follows the Union Budget 2026–27, which outlined a target of raising India's share in global services exports to 10% by 2047.
The fund house said the expansion of digital infrastructure and internet connectivity has widened the scope for service-based businesses across the economy.
The Baroda BNP Paribas Services Fund is intended for investors with an investment horizon of more than three years. It seeks to provide exposure to companies operating across different segments of the services economy through a single thematic equity portfolio.
