JioBlackRock Asset Management to Launch Regular Plans for Eligible Mutual Fund Schemes

JioBlackRock Asset Management has started offering Regular Plans across its eligible mutual fund schemes from August 17, 2026, as per The CNBC TV18 news report. The plans are available through the company's empanelled mutual fund distributors.
Regular Plans Add Distributor Route
Until now, JioBlackRock's mutual fund schemes were available through its existing distribution and digital channels. The new plans add another option for investors who prefer to invest through a distributor.
Under a Regular Plan, the distributor receives a commission that forms part of the scheme's expense ratio. Direct Plans, where investors invest without an intermediary, generally have a lower expense ratio.
Distributors Can Join Through Online Portal
JioBlackRock said its Regular Plans will be offered through empanelled distributors, subject to applicable requirements. Distributors can complete the empanelment process through the company's online portal.
JioBlackRock Asset Management is a 50:50 joint venture between Jio Financial Services and BlackRock. It started its mutual fund business in India earlier this year.
The company said the new plans will allow it to work more closely with mutual fund distributors while making its eligible schemes available through more channels.
Management Comments
Sid Swaminathan, Managing Director and CEO of JioBlackRock Asset Management, said the new plans give investors more choice in how they invest and help the company engage more closely with distributors.
Rajiv Chhabria, Chief Business Officer, said distributors continue to play a role in reaching a wider investor base as participation in mutual funds increases.
Other Products
JioBlackRock has also introduced products under the Specialised Investment Fund framework, including the Prism Hybrid Long-Short Fund.
