ITI Mutual Fund Has Filed a Draft for Bharat Consumption Fund

The ITI Bharat Consumption Fund, a thematic mutual fund, aims to generate long-term capital appreciation by investing in equity-related securities of companies engaged in India’s consumption-driven economy. This fund is designed for investors seeking exposure to the growing domestic consumption market.
Structure and Investment Objective
The ITI Bharat Consumption Fund operates as an open-ended equity scheme, allowing for regular purchase, redemption, and switching of units. The investment objective is to achieve long-term capital appreciation by focusing on consumption-related sectors and businesses. However, it is important to note that there is no assurance of fulfilling the stated investment objective.
Liquidity and Redemption Timelines
The scheme offers liquidity by making units available for subscription or redemption at NAV-related prices on all business days. Redemption proceeds are dispatched within three business days, ensuring a swift process. In case of delays, the fund compensates investors with an interest rate of 15% per annum.
Minimum Investments and Load Structure
The minimum investment amount during the NFO is ₹5,000, with subsequent purchases allowed in multiples of ₹1. For redemptions, a minimum amount of ₹1,000 applies. The scheme does not impose any entry load, and exit loads are applicable only for redemptions within three months.
Plans, Options, and NAV Disclosure
The fund offers two types of plans: Regular and Direct, with separate NAVs. Investors can choose between growth or income distribution cum withdrawal (IDCW) options. NAVs are calculated daily and disclosed within five business days after allotment.
