ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund Pauses Fresh Investments in Over 40 Schemes

ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund has announced a temporary halt on fresh investments in the Income Distribution cum Capital Withdrawal (IDCW) options of several schemes, effective November 3, 2025. This move applies to both regular and direct plans.
Scope of the Suspension
The suspension includes all new lump-sum investments, switch-ins, and new registrations under Systematic Investment Plans (SIPs) and Systematic Transfer Plans (STPs). However, existing SIP and STP mandates will remain active and continue to be processed as usual.

More than 40 mutual fund schemes across equity, debt, and fund-of-fund (FOF) categories are impacted. Some of the key schemes under suspension include:

- ICICI Pru Nifty Next 50 Index Fund
- ICICI Pru Nifty Smallcap 250 Index Fund
- ICICI Pru CRISIL-IBX Financial Services 3–6 Months Debt Index Fund
- ICICI Pru Nifty G-Sec Dec 2030 Index Fund
- ICICI Pru Asset Allocator Fund (FOF)
- ICICI Pru Bharat 22 FOF
- ICICI Pru Global Advantage Fund (FOF)
- ICICI Pru Silver ETF Fund of Fund
