
HDFC Mutual Fund on March 4 offloaded more than 2% equity stake in Sundram Fasteners through open market transactions, with the deal valued at nearly ₹358 crore. The company manufactures precision components for the automotive, infrastructure, windmill and aviation sectors.
According to exchange data, the fund sold 20.5 lakh shares at ₹831.97 per share and another 22.48 lakh shares at ₹832.36 per share, amounting to 2.04% of the company’s paid-up equity worth ₹357.66 crore. As of December 2025, HDFC Mutual Fund held a 7.62 % stake in the TVS Group firm through the HDFC NIFTY500 Multicap 50:25:25 Index Fund.
Meanwhile, Sundram Fasteners shares declined 1.3% to close at ₹835.9 on the NSE, with heavy trading volumes. The stock has remained under pressure for the sixth consecutive session.
In contrast, PNGS Reva Diamond Jewellery outperformed the weak broader market, rising 6.66% to ₹411.7 on the NSE on its listing day, even as institutional investors trimmed their holdings.
Institutional entities Asio Fund VCC – Sub Fund 4 and Vikasa India EIF I Fund – Share Class P each sold 2.36 lakh shares, equivalent to a 0.74% stake each, in Reva Diamonds. The shares were sold at ₹375 apiece, taking the combined transaction value to ₹8.87 crore.

In another deal, Subhash Phootarmal Rathod acquired 46 lakh shares of Akme Fintrade (India) at ₹7.24 per share, amounting to an investment of ₹3.33 crore.
At the same time, Indian Infotech and Software sold 40 lakh shares at ₹7.25 per share, valued at ₹2.9 crore. Both are existing investors in the company, with Rathod holding a 3.6 % stake and Indian Infotech and Software owning 1.12% stake in the firm.
