Abakkus Mutual Fund AUM Surpasses ₹10,000 Crore Within 8 Months of Launch

Abakkus Mutual Fund has reportedly crossed ₹10,000 crore in Assets Under Management (AUM), nearly eight months after launching its first scheme in December 2025, as per The Economic Times news report.
Its AUM stood at ₹10,056 crore as of August 13, 2026. The fund house had more than 1.91 lakh investors across 2,006 locations and 12,741 pin codes. This compares with an AUM of ₹5,482 crore and 1,00,702 investors reported on May 8, 2026.
AUM Rises from May 2026
Abakkus Mutual Fund crossed the ₹5,000 crore AUM mark in May 2026. At the time, it had more than one lakh investors, presence across 2,001 locations and 9,573 pin codes.
The fund house's first scheme was a Flexi Cap Fund, launched in December 2025. Its New Fund Offer (NFO) collected ₹2,468 crore.
Four Schemes Launched
Abakkus Mutual Fund, founded by Sunil Singhania, currently manages four schemes. These include the Flexi Cap Fund, Small Cap Fund, Large & Mid Cap Fund, and a Liquid Fund.
The fund house was registered with SEBI in August 2025. Abakkus Investment Managers is its asset management company and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Abakkus Asset Manager.
Investment Process
Abakkus Mutual Fund uses a proprietary framework called MEETS for its investment process. It covers Management, Earnings, Events/Trends, Timing and Structural factors.
The fund house noted that the framework is used to assess businesses across these areas, while keeping fundamentals at the centre of investment decisions. Its investment process also includes research and risk management.
What The Fund House Said?
Vaibhav Chugh, CEO of Abakkus Mutual Fund, said the fund house plans to expand its reach, strengthen its distribution network and build a diversified product portfolio.
Sanjay Doshi, Head of Investments & Research, said the fund house's approach is based on fundamental research, risk management and a long-term investment strategy.
